wishing happy new year is now quite risky world leaders have drunk egoistic whisky
Democratic world-order at large
with universal peace and harmony as its genetic-code
“uno” of today came into existence some decades ago
declaring removal of differences of all sorts
eliminating threats visible and non-visible both
strengthening amicable ties was the core of its oath.
What we see today an altogether different and an ugly picture
slavery of helpless Tibet under the overlordship of the overbearing dragon-state
high rising flares of conflicts sometimes from south china sea and recently from the black sea
sharply conflicting view-points on the biggest common-enemy widely known as global-warming
horizontally and vertically divided stands the world on the state-sponsored fatal terrorism
then where is and what is the role of the supreme international body in realism.
Weapons of mass destruction are on rapid-rise
nevertheless, every state claims to be sober and wise
potent threats to the survival of the earth are thus at least twice
we are yet to learn to control the forest fires through an effective device
we don’t know how to predict earthquakes through maths and science
but we continue to sharpen the teeth of technology to destroy each-other otherwise.
Conveying “happy new year wish” has become therefore quite risky
destroyers of earth’s environment and its well-being are quite frisky
nobody except Canada talks whole heartedly of preserving and enhancing biodiversity reserves
ever-polluting water-bodies, seas and oceans, dying rivers are strangely beyond top priorities
ozone layer is depleting age old glaciers are disappearing but global leaders are self composed and day dreaming.
